Police officers are investigating at the crime scene. One person is killed and another is injured in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on June 20, 2024. At approximately 12:03 a.m., Thursday morning on the 700 block of E. 67th St., two male adults are standing in a vacant lot when an unknown suspect fires shots in their direction, striking both victims. A male victim in his 30s is sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to the body and is transported to the hospital where he is pronounced dead.
